Joe is the Community Evangelist at Unity, he jumped across the sea from England to join Unity in Denmark, His education focused on 3D art and Game Design at the University of Teesside. Some time after that, Joe landed a job using Unity where he became an active member of the community and worked on various projects, from jet ski games with purple water to a building familiarization tool for Greater Manchester Police HQ. Joe is a big believer in Independent games. |

Boyo started his career at Mimic Media. Making 3d work for the fashion industry, working a lot with mocap and cloth sims. For a big project in 2009 he took on Ritchy to help, and they have been a team ever since. The are currently working for Postoffice Amsterdam, one of the leading post houses in Amsterdam. They are known as "the grey vests". They have worked on dozens of commercials and the feature film "The Gang Of Oss" which opened the Dutch film festival and received 6 golden calf nominations. Boyo also worked on Femme-o-matic(winner best young director, Cannes 2011). Their strong point is their pipeline which relies on python and is adjustable to the needs of every project. These technical skills combined with their creative background is what defines the 3d department for Postoffice. Their main tools are Maya, Mudbox, PFtrack and Realflow. |

Ted Boardman is an independent 3ds Max trainer from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA. Michael McCarthy is a VFX TD and Autodesk Certified Instructor from Boston, Massachusetts, USA working in broadcast, feature film, and games. Michael's skills in the 3D field are built on many years of fine arts training. Character and VFX animation are a couple of Michael's passions. Michael has been an author and contributor to many 3ds max publications and created training and documentation for 3ds max as well as many of it's most popular plug-ins. Michael instructs at The New England Institute of Art, Siggraph Master Classes, and studios such as CafeFX. Always on the cutting edge of technology, Michael works with many leading 3d developers doing product design and training for new products including Particle Flow Box 2, Zookeeper, and Phoenix FD. His experience on projects such as Spiderman 3, Nims Island,Treasure Quest, and Sims keeps Michael engaged in all nuances of film, broadcast, and games production. |
